August “Cars & Coffee”

Our next Cars and Coffee will be on Saturday, August 27 at Great Bridge Methodist Church, 201 Stadium Drive in Chesapeake from 8:00 to 10:00 AM.

This gathering brings together our social hour and a car show featuring various makes from antiques to the very latest cars (from a variety of auto manufacturers). Bring yours to display as well.

A full breakfast is available inside for $7.00. Coffee and donuts are available outside at the car show.

There will be no Cars and Coffee in September due to the National VCOA meet in North Carolina, previously announced. We will resume in October.

National Meet Information

This coming Saturday is the last day to register for the September VCOA national meet in Hickory, North Carolina (September 9-11). See the latest eRolling email or any of the last two editions of the Rolling magazine for enrollment information.

Members may participate in the full 3-day event or just the 1-day (Saturday) car show. Special hotel rates for 3 area hotels have been arranged by the national organization, and are quite reasonable. This is a beautiful area to host such an event, making it a great setting to showcase a great car maker.

For more information, visit the Volvo Club of America homepage for all the details. We are looking forward to seeing a good showing from the Coast Virginia group.

If you have questions, please email our club President.
